Grrrrrr I am so cross. I logged into my bank account this morning to find they have charged me a daily rate for going over drawn, I am supposed to have a free overdraft..........I really want to change banks but the rigmarole to do so is so complicated.....one thing is for sure I am going to move all my savings accounts away. The interest they pay is so small I might as well keep the money under the mattress!!
Fine morning, it does keep clouding over though, OH says we are due rain at some point. It did not stop to rain for about an hour yesterday, we had a flooded path the water barrels are all full and the excess water was running down to the drain.
Joint of pork in cooking, I buy a shoulder joint from aldi, cook it and then slice it when its cold, enough for supper tonight and for probably enough for 4 cooked suppers as well as some for filled rolls.
So roast pork and veggies for supper, banana for dessert.0 -

I'm back from my 'jaunt'. Collected a new jumper from M&S, picked up a sandwich for DM and then visited a couple of friends. Just a wee hour sitting nattering was lovely.
It's getting very dark outside, perhaps rain is on the way.0 -
Afternoon all..Sorry to hear that tru. What we found was hat we had no time t cook and eat a real meal, not without much advanced planning so if you were so inclined, and sort of as above, soupd and hot drinks and maybe a stew or something [all this depends on the length of time he's in there though]. I also educated myself on what we could expect in terms of knowing when the time was close, solooked at a lot of websites to identify these things. The only thing my father conformed to was the panting type breathing which lasted two days. We also asked for something to dry the mucus in his throat as he was unable to swallow, and we felt it made him more comfortable if he wasn't strugging to breathe through that.
If this is too much info, my apologies...
I am currently still not dressed after the party last night, not only thanks to a hangover [ I drank a bottle of wine to myself...] but also thanks to dancing [only one!] dance and being so out of breath for many minutes afterwards. Really need to work on my fitness plan...I have made a beef stew though which is bubbling gently [remembered to get it out of the freezer yesterday]
Csarina, it's fairly simple to change banks now, they all have a 7 day switching promise where everything should be done within seven days and depending on who you go to, should have a reward of some kind for doing it.

Afternoon all. Gerring dark here meh. Tru sorry to hear about your fil. Been there so have a hug from me.
Did washing and housework this morning. I found it quite tiring as the lurgy is still hanging about. OH went to a model railway swapmeet this morning. Have been knitting this afternoon but I have messed it up so have put it down for now.
Dinner tonight will be leftover root veg stew from yesterday so an easy meal. DS is away until Tuesday so no need for a full on roasr dinner. We have dgs all day tomorrow as his school is having an in service day. On Wednesday OH will pick him up from school at lunchtime and we will give him lunch then DH will take him to meet DD at the Bristol Eye Hospital for another check up on his eye. Back to Moorfields on 4th December.
Well that's all from me. Have a good evening folks.
