Online Job Control?

Any recommendations please for a simple job/project control system.

I've searched for these but can't find anything suitable. There are plenty out there but none do what I need.

Some seem to assume that every job/project is different and most offer no facility for copying the same job over many clients, or for copying the same job to be repeated for the same client. I trialled Basecamp for example, but every project has to be set up from scratch.

Others, like, Outlook, don't allow for the same job to be repeated periodically.

I want something that allows a job to be repeated for a customer every week, month, quarter, or yearly, and also for jobs, once set up, to be copied over many different clients. We are looking at hundreds of small "jobs" or tasks for a few dozen clients. Each job or task only needs a few steps as the control side of them is simple.

Any ideas?

This is just the sort of thing that may well require decent bespoke software for, designed specifically for the job in hand, but it all depends on your budget. I can recommend some good bespoke software companies, PM if you want more details.

I don't know of anything free that can do what you require which is "free".

I'm not wanting anything free. I have a budget of £100 per month, which seems to be the going rate for online project management. There are products out there, but they all seem to assume a small number of large one-off projects. I need a system that covers large numbers of very small indentical projects. All I need is something like Basecamp that actually allows for entire projects to be copied - Basecamp has "to do list" templates, which is fine for once you have set up your projects, but it is very annoying that they don't have "project" templates - looking at their forums a lot of other users have said the same thing, but Basecamp are being very vague about whether they have plans to tweak the system. Looking at other online systems, they all seem to have copied Basecamp, as they seem to do exactly the same thing (or perhaps Basecamp copied one of them). I can't be the only one who wants the ability to repeat identical projects for the same client and to copy a project from one client to another. It is a very simple system that I already have on a desktop PC using Access - I'm no programmer and never used Access before, but it only took a couple of hours to read the online help and pull it together.
