Old sky cable OK to chop?

Right by the TV and front external wall is now where the Virgin fibre comes in. There are still two fibre leads coming in from outside that are unused. They were connected to an old satellite dish on front of house when moved in. We no longer want those cables. Am I OK to cut them or do we have to do something stupid such as call Sky and ask them to remove their cabling?

You own all the Sky stuff, so it's yours to do whatever you like with it. Virgin is a different matter.0
