Hi there all,
I've recently decided to get a gaming pc. Just wondering if anyone has some recommendations. I did order through ebuyer.com a gaming pc to the cost of £2600 but they messed up the order and the delivery too so not keen on using them again.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
I know most will say 'just build your own' and 'its actually easy'. It isn't to me and I don't want to spend a lot of money only to mess it up.
Many thanks for any recommendations.

£2600? What were you buying for £2600? You don't need to spend anywhere near that amount of money.
Gaming is more to do with a decent graphics card, a decent power supply to run it and a semi-decent middle of the range collection of hardware to run it. Even starting from nothing from all you shouldn't get anywhere near four figure sums!0 -

I'm assuming this (or similar)

No need to spend 2600.
Spend 1000 on the tower and buy new every 3 years.0 -
Ah yes, a load of top end expensive stuff in that case @ eBuyer.
I think a lot depends on the sort of games the OP wants to play. I dare say a lot (most? nearly all?) of them don't need an 11Gb graphics card or an i9. The memory might be useful though.0 -
Makes you wonder if case manufacturers ever use a PC themselves.
Why do they recess front mounted USB ports?? I have a few USB dongles that you cannot place into recessed ports.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
I recommend Overclockers UK. Agree with the above, £2600 seems a bit much.0
