THE GADGET SHOW COMPETITION 2 S30 – WIN A TRIP FOR 2 TO BERLIN- ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Competition opened at 13.00 on 01.11.2019 Competition closes at midday on 29.11.2019 and 3 working days later for postal entries.

1) The prize comprises Gadgets &:

Return economy class flights for two from a London airport of the prize provider’s choice to Berlin International;
Return airport transfers for two between the airport in Berlin and the nhow Berlin hotel;
Three (3) nights’ hotel accommodation for two at the nhow Berlin, based on the prize winner and their companion sharing a Junior Suite on a bed and breakfast basis;
Two (2) course dinner for two at the hotel’s restaurant, Fabrics including a bottle of wine to share on one evening;
Two (2) one-day tickets to the IFA Exhibit which takes place in September 2020 (exact dates TBC. Tickets will be for a set date and only provided if the prize winner chooses to travel over the dates of the IFA Exhibit); and
£1,000 spending money.
2)The prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of their congratulations e-mail from Element and at least six weeks in advance of their preferred departure date or the prize may be forfeited.

4)The prize must be taken and completed within 12 months of the congratulations e-mail from Element being sent and cannot be taken between 19th December 2019 and 4th January 2020, over Easter weekend (10th April 2020 to 13th April 2020) or UK Bank Holidays (8th May 2020; 25th May 2020; 31st August 2020). The prize and its components are subject to availability.

5) The prize winner and their companion must hold current and valid passports and any other relevant travel documentation required for travel to and entry to Germany. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to organise and pay costs associated with obtaining visas for themselves and their travelling companion.

6) Either the prize winner or their companion must be over the age of 18. Where the prize winner is under 18 years old, he/she must be accompanied by an adult aged18 or over to check into the hotel. Please note that either the prize winner or their companion will need a current and valid credit card in order to check in at the hotel for security deposit purposes. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to ensure that they and/or their companion adhere to the local laws in Germany. It is highly recommended that the prize winner and their companion obtain advice from a medical professional in advance of travelling and ensure that vaccinations are up to date.

7)The prize excludes ground transfers in the UK, additional meals and drinks which are not included in the prize, additional excursions, attractions, treatments, gratuities, personal expenses, visas and vaccinations where required and all other costs and arrangements not expressly included in the prize.

8)The prize and all its elements are subject to availability. Neither Channel 5 nor Element will accept responsibility for the hotel or any facilities / elements of the prize being unavailable, withdrawn or amended.

9)There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize.

10)Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.

11) A cheque for the £1,000 spending money included in the prize will be issued in the prize winner’s name within 14 days of the holiday booking being confirmed.

12)Video footage and images provided by the nhow Berlin hotel.

13) The Prize Provider of the holiday to Berlin is Element London Limited, 5 Morie Street, London SW18 1SL.
