A huge thank you to One-Eye - I have received a cheque in the post from Take a Puzzle for £10! It's being added to my savings pot, so I'm very pleased (even if it didn't have a few extra noughts on the end, I'm always grateful for all my wins!)
My comping journey started in 1995 when a colleague won a car in Take a Break. She told me it was the first and only time she'd done the puzzles and sent off the coupon at the back of the magazine and she'd won! So it got me motivated to start entering competitions and I've entered Take a Break comps on and off since then - 24 years! All right, technically Take a Puzzle isn't actually Take a Break weekly, but to finally receive a letter headed with Take a Break means that after 24 years I have finally won something with them! :j Hopefully it won't be another 24 years before the next Take a Break win lands! :rotfl:
