Child Tax Credit Overpayment

Myself and my partner were previously in receipt of CTC for her youngest daughter.

We have been sent a Notice to Pay for £38.33 as an overpayment for the period ended 31/08/2018

The online advice I can find doesn't give any reference to a period ending at the end of August, I'm at a loss as to how we owe them this money, as we last had a payment from them on 6th June 2017

Trying to get through to speak to somebody from HMRC is like finding unicorns in a rainbow. It's obviously a trivial amount when you read about some who have had to repay hundreds if not thousands, but still, HMRC are not very good at explaining why they do this.

Can anybody out there make it any clearer for me please?
Thanks in advance.
