I would never have dreamt of escalating things to that level, but I like your thinking superscaper! :beer:0 -
You just have to think "what's the worst that could happen by sending a letter to the CEO/President?". The answer is usually, absolutely nothing happens. So you've literally got nothing to lose. Even if the president's office does nothing, the fact that local/regional cs see that their boss's office is going to enquire about your situation at some point is going to put the wind up them and it'll look better for them if they can say "oh yes that case has been satifactorily resolved already". That exact situation happened with my mum and John Lewis over price matching a TV. CC to JL CEO and low and behold customer service seemed to say "well there shouldn't be a problem in the first place we'll be happy to.....". Next thing is a letter back from CEO's office to say "I see that on contacting X branch that your situation has been amicably resolved" etc. The CC is a motivator in itself as far as I can see.kaydoh1981 wrote: »I would never have dreamt of escalating things to that level, but I like your thinking superscaper!"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Don't bite my head off, but have you double checked the RAM.
Are you relying on the original spec sheet, or have you looked at the System Properties, or whatever it may be called in Vista.Move along, nothing to see.0
