Or just stop calling it a "company" at all if what we're talking about is just a sole trader. OP mentioned a now-dissolved limited company but I'm not sure where they come into it.
Sorry if my wording is incorrect, ive never dealt with anything like this before!

    He is a sole trader.

I was advised to look on the Company house website to see if I could find an address etc and this is where the information about a dissolved company comes from!

Is the company listed on Companies House the one that you have been dealing with?

What is the EXACT name of the company you had a contract with?

UK phone number and Spanish phone number?

    WHOIS returns nothing useful.

Companies House returns nothing for The GLH Academy. The GLH Hair Centre Limited is showing as dissolved 4 years ago. So who did you sue? Simon?

I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean ... are you accusing me of not knowing who runs the courses? If yes then the accusation is true ... I have no idea and no desire to find out.

You need to remember that this is all very close to you - we are random internet strangers who know nothing specific about your situation other than what YOU disclose to US. ;)

Sorry wasn’t meaning to be vague but I thought you weren’t allowed to name people on here?

Yes it is very close to me as I’m sure it is to anyone who is owed money but not getting it back

You had papers served on the defendants last known address, you were entitled to do that.

Did you submit the relevant form/ copy of papers/ copy of email when you served the defendant by email to the court? As that would also have been deemed to him receiving the papers.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.

He is going to try to get this ccj set aside by saying he never received the paperwork as I used an old address ( because he wouldn’t supply a valid one unfortunately)!

In order to complete the application for a set aside (form N244), he would need to supply his address.

I'm guessing he won't apply for a set aside and will just keep sending stroppy emails. You will have to consider whether this debt is worth pursuing or not.
