    Thank you

Hi lindsaygalaxy - of course you can join us. Sue_UU will be along to give you a number, but don't wait to get started. Have a look at the first post on page 1 so some tips. Welcome.
I'd like to rejoin and change my signature:):j

You too are welcome :j Have you already got a number? If not, Sue will allocate you one too :)
    Hi

I was #86 last year, can I keep the same number and join in for 2020?

Sorry I didn’t declare my savings, sadly my life got messy and I just had to focus on family stuff ☹️

Hoping to pot lots in 2020.

Hiya, good to see you. Sorry this year has been messy. I hope you are through that now. Welcome back.

I had a busy Christmas, lots of family stuff and lots of working and quite a bit of potting. Two more working days for me then I have a couple of weeks off.

Happy new year everyone. I hope 2020 is everything you wish for.

Hi everyone hope you all had a great Christmas
I've been insanely busy but I've potted about £5 over the last couple of weeks. My laptop gave up the ghost so I've been trying to figure this.out on my phone  it's not going too well haha. Take care everyone :)

3 x £1 coins and 1 x £2 safely potted in one of my pots. Then a selection of silver coins in the other, maybe £2 worth?

And not to forget the rogue 1p that made it's way into the copper jar.

Just emptied my purse. Have yet to empty the husband's tray which hasn't been done for a while! Maybe a job for this afternoon :)

    Pay off by Xmas 2019 #02 - target £10,000
  • Just found an old piggy money box, so I shall be using him/her as my sealed pot... think I need to give piggy a name...

My first find was all the loose coins and change that I had in a drawer, emptied out my purses of small coins, so first pot was £7.50

Whilst hunting for coins, I came across a lottery scratch card that had been in the drawer for over 6 months.. lucky find as it scratched off to win £10...

  • Afternoon,
It feels like slow going so far. I have only put in about £10 since the beginning. I am sure it will pick up in January.
    Have a great New Year!

Finally restarted my pot. Put in £2 worth of change to get it started. Might have more tomorrow.
Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.

I'm determined not to give up this time.
In the New Year I intend taking my lunch to work and putting the money I would have spent.
70p today - not much but better than nothing.

  • I have been potting loose change and found a pound, a 10p and a 5p in roadkill. Got a big boost with an unexpected Christmas gift of £60, so that's been added as well. Finally, got a handful of coppers from my son, who was emptying his jacket pockets.
