I was sceptical and put him off, but he was good on the phone and convinced me to fill an application form to open an account, with no commitment, checked the web site, all looked good. He then seemed to be a little too insistent that this was ideal for me, and I needed to act quickly. I didnt, and after a week he left me alone. Regrettably I filled in the form, and although there were no bank details or anything like that, one question was my Mother's maiden name. Would they be able to sell that information, although I think I know the answer. At least I can warn others about Nateus. Its a bit late now, but for this and any other type of ID questions, never give the real answers. Because once out in the wild, you cant recall them. And ideally you need a different mothers maiden name (and first school , first car etc etc) on every "key" site that asks for it. eg bank, mortgage, stuff like that.1

If it helps others reading this, you can download a tool called "keepass" where you can store passwords safely, and it also offers in each entry a little comment box, so you can put in your answers to security questions which you may have lied about and are thus likely to forget if not stored somewhere.0

The www.nateus.co.uk domain name was only registered on 10th March 2020 with only one year. The name servers for the website are: dns1.namecheaphosting.com.The postal address on the website is for a genuine building with some genuine businesses located in it. However, for 300 euros you can buy a virtual office using that address. https://first-office.co/europe/ see 3rd row down. There are quite a lot of easy spots on this one. Enough to fool the really naive but not anyone else.

So although I have not parted with any money or bank details, what comeback could I expect from my personal details been given, anything?0

Well you can probably expect to have plenty more 'exciting investment opportunities' being presented to you, via phone, email, basically using any contact details you've provided...timclaxton said:So although I have not parted with any money or bank details, what comeback could I expect from my personal details been given, anything?1
