Just went to update my current details on CEC having recently moved to Symbio for my electricity but my tariff is not shown for some reason!
I'm on the following plan; ''Symbio mega monthly plan August 19''
Tariff is 11.560 per kwh and standing charge 17.96p per day both including VAT.
I wonder Is there any chance this tariff can be added to CEC?

The CEC isn’t trustworthy;....do not rely solely on the CEC,...or the info it displays. It demonstrably does NOT show the ‘Whole of Market’,....despite their grandiose claims. There are other websites.
The CEC price comparison pages used to have several very prominent pics of Martin Lewis staring resolutely from the screen.
However, there is now just one small pic of Mr Lewis!...it accompanies the ‘tab’ called “MSE Top Picks”.
Perhaps I’m unjustly cynical but I wonder if the altered screen layout is in response to comments/complaints on this forum about his misleading ‘Whole of Market’ comparisons. :doh:0 -
Check the whole market (well nearly, some price comparison sites have exclusive deals) using Citizens Advice and Which?. Then see whether your chosen supplier has a better cashback via the CEC.0

Symbio are now appearing. Perhaps MSE have been reading this thread !0

Although they do not have all of the tariffs to set as your current. The one thing I do like is that once you have set your profile you only have to log in and compare, most of the others you have to fill in the details every time, wading through a list of 1001 possible tariffs to set as current. EnergyHelpline does seem to leave a cookie for a period.0

I don't know why you keep spamming these two comparison sites.
Neither are ofgem accredited. And the CAB for one also does not cover the whole of market (according to your own misguided definition)
- and neither offer any cashback.
There are often better places to obtain cashback from than MSE's own CEC - refer to the MSE guide on switching for more details.0 -

I'm happy to declare that I don't have any connection with the energy industry, its regulators, comparison websites etc, I'm just an ordinary consumer interested in getting the best deal for myself and everyone else. How about you?Neither are ofgem accredited. And the CAB for one also does not cover the whole of market
You're equally misguided about Which? They use Energylinx, which IS Ofgem accredited.0
