I have just received this letter for total amount of £185 otherwise they will take me to court.
I would rather not pay as am on Universal Credit and money is tight.
I was hoping this would go away, but it looks like they will take me to court for parking outside a bay although I did pay.
Is there anything I can do to get this cancelled?
Many thanks

Yes , I couldnt see anything in particular about parking outside of a bay?
I don't know if I have a case or not as they have photos but I thought I was allowed to park where I did as there were some yellow painted crash barriers in front of the sign that were the same colour as the bays....I wasnt blocking anyone either? I just don't know what to do as have a lot on my plate atm so can't put much time into it but I also cant really afford to pay this as only get 317 a month to pay for everything...0 -
Sorry, but there’s no easy-out silver bullet. Unless you put in the time, you might have to put in the dime. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

A - NO IT ISN'T. YOU DO NOT NEED SPECIFICS. FORGET THE DETAIL, MOST CASES ARE ALL THE SAME.I don't know if I have a case or not as they have photos but I thought I was allowed to park where I did as there were some yellow painted crash barriers in front of the sign that were the same colour as the bays....I wasn't blocking anyone either
You will have to put the time in if you want to beat this scam when they file a court claim. Everyone else here manages it and they fit it around family & jobs so we hope you can too. 99% of posters win.
