Fitting olf light shade / Help? :)

Sorry, *Fitting of (excuse the title typo)
I just bought a mid century ceiling light shade, but do not recognise the fitting.
I am probably being naive and inexperienced, but how do I fit this? My light fitting is a standard B22 hanging down from the ceiling on a wire....
This forum won't let me post an image link, so for now I have to describe it, the opening of the shade at the top is about 4.5 cm, the inside there is a removable metal fitting, three prongs to hold it in place inside the shade, then a hole in the middle about 1cm diameter, maybe a bit smaller?
Any ideas?
Many thanks

Difficult to visualise! If you post a link to the image with some spaces in, someone else can post it for you.0

Works, thank you!
So, based on the above photo, how would I wire this in to a standard ceiling light.
I think about 30/40cm of flex, then the light fitting is the set up.0 -
I think you need a 10mm cord grip eg
https://www.lampspares.co.uk/cord-grip-transparent-pg8tr-2691707/
and a retaining nut
https://www.lampspares.co.uk/steel-10mm-nut-for-lamp-holder-fixings-10671-plu81852/
to fit the 10mm hole in the centre of the 3-prong 'spider'.
That will grip the shade to the flex and let you adjust the shade position so the lampholder is the correct position inside the shade.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0
