Debt Collection Question

I think i will have to go and try to get a consent order and see if they are willing to sign it with the offer of me paying the full balance and not the 75% reduction upon the consent order being granted.
I already asked them to go through this route before the offer and they were unwilling too do so.
This may give me some bargaining tools0 -

If you've already tried the consent order route once and failed what makes you think they will agree this time?
They won't be bribed by promises to pay, otherwise you wouldn't be in this situation in the first place0 -
because this time they are offering me 75% discount on a massive debt. I will bargain and tell them i will pay the full original balance if the conseent order is granted. They may so no but would be very stupid to say no. Consent order costs them nothing and effects them not one bit in regards to the debt. Its only a win win situation for them0

I had previous consent orders granted through this very method. Promise to pay in full if consent order is granted. This company is just being akward for no reason0 -

As i said in my previous post its a win win for them. They have nothing to lose and alot to gain. They are willing to let me pay a reduced balance of 75% discount and i am willing to pay the full amount just by them signing a consent order to remove a CCJ
IT does not effect them in the slightest, they will actually make 75% more money by doing this!0 -
Are they taking 75% off the total owed, or asking you to make a payment equal to 75% of the total owed - 2 very different figures.
Either way, it's not a win-win, it's bribery.0 -
taking away 75% owed.
Not bribery at all, i didnt ask them for this0 -
Why not accept the offer? It drops off in 2022 anyway.
And yes the 'former company name' indicates that they are the new owners of the debt.
Is it clear that they know there is a ccj on this? Are they quoting the court reference?0 -
I want to try and get the CCJ removed by consent. IF that means paying the full price then im happy to do that if the CCJ drops rather then wait till 2022.
Last resort would be taking the offer but i am now going to go back to them and see what they come back with. Yes they know there is a CCJ on it, they are the ones who put it on.0
