Surely, as already suggested, the OP needs to return the car and tell them that he's rejecting it as it's not as described? Also put it in writing that it's being rejected (plus reasons) and I'd also say that staff have been misleading him in saying (1) they aren't responsible for the web description and (2) they can't accept it back. I'd indicate this would not be in their favour if the OP has to sue them to exercise his statutory rights.0
