Access Database Help

I'm struggling through setting up a small database in MS Access (without any previous experience or training!) and have reached about as far as I can without some help.

Can anyone recommend a good book or better still an online resource which is aimed at absolute beginners who have absolutely no idea what they are doing? Everything I've looked at seems to be aimed at someone who has had some eperience before or is upgrading from an earlier version.

Thanks,

Lil

The best books, although they can get very technical after the gentle introductions, are by Alison Balter, usually entitled "Mastering Microsoft Access" (followed by the version of access you are using). I've use these in a professional development environment since the 1997 version, they are a fantastic resource.

Access is one of those applications which looks very easy to start with, using simple wizards, but to do anything complex requires a lot of knowledge, especially of the VBA language and knowledge of SQL is very useful too.
