Morning all...I've been sitting here for an hour perusing and stuff and am no closer to being up and at them.
I dug out the rosemary bush yesterday, there was much swearing when it came time to get the rootball out, but my trusty mattock saved the day [ this was after I annihalated a fork, it was a bit bent anyway, now it looks like the be well and prosper sign...] I am hoping to put the olives in today.
D'you know, I'm not sure the appointment helped yesterday, or it may just be a function of my response to things like that. I'm feeling worse for 'sharing' than I did before. I think I'll just pootle for a while and see hwo it goes.

I retailed therapied yesterday too, bought myself some very expensive long-ish fitflop boots for the winter [ I got rid of the last pair I bought in the big clear out, but they'd been worn pretty flat over 4 years of wearing] and a couple of much reduced price sandals for next summer. I also went through topcashback so we'll see how that works.
I made chicken stew yesterday so there's still some left for today. I did try to go to WW last night but it was closed with no note on the door so will try again next week.
Right, I'm going for coffee number 3, and some toast to ease the passage to the shower and action.....
Hope everyone is doing as well as expected, dumpling, hope you're sontinuing to improve...TA, sounds fab! Gers, well prepared! Mehefin, well done..it's hard though still...hope nanny is OK, and SO...and Holly Golightly...:)
    Turned off Thursday....

Have decided to not go shopping after all. :j Despite the fridge being empty there is enough other stuff to eat.

Instead of going out I've pushed the Gtech around the flat, it's so easy to do, much less taxing than the Miele cylinder. :j

I ordered another jumper from M&S and found the offer for the beauty advent calendar so ordered that too. It'll be a brilliant present for one of my dearest friends. The two others are getting Lego advent calendars! :j

-taff - well done on mastering the rosemary, it certainly gets to be a beast. You must be very strong.
  • Afternoon all. Dull and drizzly here. I am trying to shake off the sore throat and sniffles. I feel tired too so not much is going on today. DH has just nipped to Motrres for a bit of ham, some potatoes and a Belgian bun as there is no cake in the tin. Bad wifey lol!

TA free tickets. A lovely treat. Taff the boots sound rather nice. Gers I didn'nt want to go shopping for food today either. HH home made sausage rolls yum. Have they got the sunken narrowboat in the Marina up yet?

Well have a good afternoom folks. Hugs and spoons all round.

Hi all and thank you for caring.
Sorry for being MIA but I'm having a rotten time at present. My face is still swollen and I have had 3 emergency appointments at the surgery. Now after 2 courses of Anti b's,Dr thinks I have trigeminal neuralgia and put me on tablets used for epilepsy :(. To say I'm away with the fairies is an understatement ! (The downside also includes an upset tummy ) I'm still not convinced it's TM, but I'm back to see him on the 8th Nov ( or rather a different one as he's on holiday ) and I'm hoping this one will do an X-ray and/or scan, instead of just looking in my mouth /touching my face and saying it's an ongoing investigation :(.
Anyway I have been reading along and I hope the poorlies are on the mend, especially Dumpling and RR, although quite a few of you are going through the wringer so many hugs to all.
Also Gers I hope your op goes well.
In other news Dad had his 90th birthday last week and it was DGD 8th yesterday. Guess which one was the most excited !
Anyway I shall love you and leave you, but I will try to keep up with the gossip on here, however I may not post for a while as I'm finding it hard to sort my head out to post.
    Take care all
    love nan xx

Sorry you're under the weather - the old favourite of honey and lemon seems to help. I took it the other week even though I hate honey. I can prescribe 'feet up and head down'.
Hi all and thank you for caring.
Sorry for being MIA but I'm having a rotten time at present.

And sorry to read about your ongoing woes Nan, it's rotten when no answers or remedies can be found. Sometimes soldiering on seems too difficult. Take care.

DM has been fed, I had an M&S Lamb Tagine which she didn't really want, but then she enjoyed it.
  • Spent all afternoon on the phone, had my handbag pinched at Aldi this morning..........no idea how. Stopped all my bank cards, etc reported it and got a crime number, driving licence, library cards, bus cards, all have to be replaced and I now have no purse either.......... gutted......
  • Oh Csarina what rotten luck. Are you ok? Have a hug from me.
