Will Amex credit check me for a corporate card?

Hi I work in finance for a big 4. I want to apply for an AMEX to help with business expenses. Will AMEX credit check me when applying as my rating is quite poor. The card is a company liable / company settled.

I don't want to create an awkward situation by being rejected. Checking what my company has posted regarding it, it says they will do an ID check where they only see a score. This has worried me as will they see my score and flag it up or are they purely just trying to confirm my identity?

They won't see the imaginary CRA score that you see.
But am confused. If this is a corporate card then surely the company will arrange it not you apply for ir?

It's at our discretion if we want one, there's a special page on our inhouse portal that allows us to apply.

Unless you're running under an assumed identity, or have been living in off-grind in the woods until now, there's no reason why you would score low on an ID check.
