RingGo App - Parking paid but for wrong car reg.

Hi...total newbie here and grateful for any advice.
I've read the Newbie thread and think i know what to include in terms of a POPLA appeal but before I draft it would like to confirm my assumptions.
In summary I paid for parking via the RingGo app and either mistakenly selected the wrong registration or the App did it (which I doubt). Recieved a PCN on my windscreen. The car park doesn't appear to have ANPR and the ticket machine doesn't require car reg to be entered if purchasing via that route.
Being a newbie and unaware of all this I appealled to Smart Parking within a week of getting the PCN. I didn't specify I was the driver, nor that I was the keeper. I essentially tried to explain that a genuine mistake had probably been made, provided evidence of payment, that RingGo app held both car registrations, no loss incurred etc. Recieved a rejection letter.
The rejection doesn't address any of reasons I gave, not that I was expecting it but they've included within the reasons for rejection that the machine at the car park requires the correct car reg to be entered (not applicable at the car park) and that ANPR is in place (also not applicable, a warden checks car registration manually and hands out the PCN)
So in terms of the POPLA appeal I'm thinking that I need to:
1) wait till day 57 before appealing to POPLA to see if I get a NTK
2) include in the POPLA appeal about Signage, Landowner Authority, parking fee had been made & NTK (if not recieved from Smart Parking)
A prior post from 2018 is very similar to my case and I think would make a good template to use and amend, it's titled 'Smart parking - wrong reg POPLA appeal'.
Signage on entry is poor, only the standard parking costs are legible upon entry in the car. Signage from the parking spaces is not visible or at least not read-able. The signage regarding a PCN of £60 is visible but only when up close (it is in slightly larger font than the terms and conditions) but the terms and conditions can not be read from anything but two feet, and if using the RingGo app is not stated at all when purchasing via that route.
Is there any value in adding in something regarding the fact that the rejection reasons bear no resemblence to the facts of my case, proving that they've not considered the appeal in any way that would be anything other than a rote rejection, and not the 'common sense' approach to appeals that they state they assess appeals under?
Also is it worth stating that the RingGo app doesn't spell out the terms & conditions either?
Thanks in advance.

Received a PCN on my windscreen.
So in terms of the POPLA appeal I'm thinking that I need to:
1) wait till day 57 before appealing to POPLA to see if I get a NTKPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks for the reply.
I think that having jumped in too early to appeal to smart parking, the POPLA code is only valid for 28 days, the end of which will be prior to the 57th day. So...that may rule out using the NTK element?
Thanks again.0 -
As Coupon-mad will tell you POPLA codes last longer than the advertised 28 days, 32 or 33 from memory.0

Of course that doesn't rule out the 100% win slam dunk POPLA appeal point.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ok, great, thanks for that, will be sure to include it then.
Thanks to those that have replied, it's much appreciated.0 -
It's your winning point and if you appealed the windscreen PCN too soon then that was annoying but doesn't blow the entire point away.
They are highly unlikely to send a NTK in time as long as you leave your POPLA appeal till day 30-32 from the rejection, as you will surely be pretty close to timing them out anyway. Show us your draft copied from any other Smart POPLA POFA appeal thread.
THIS IS WHY THE NEWBIES THREAD TELLS PEOPLE TO WAIT TILL DAY 26 BEFORE DOING ANY FIRST WINDSCREEN PCN APPEAL TO A BPA MEMBER, THOUGH.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
