Hi PaP, and everyone :hello: :hello:
Well, after my 'Strictly Non-DFW' Chinese of Friday night - it's back to the 'grindstone' for the rest of the week.
As the majority of my first 'paycheque' has been swallowed up by the 'mortgage' I am aiming for absolute minimum spending this week. I will be trying to manage on max of £20 per week, personal spends, from now on.
That said, I did spend £2.96 on a bottle of 'Valpolicella' yesterday - ASDA 'rollback' from £5.00. And very nice it was, too. :j :j
Should be a NSD today - and hopefully most of the week.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

DFW Nerd # 166 PROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBTS0 -
Morning all!
As per usual for a Monday, I overslept (a bit more than usual) and had to rush out the door. This time withouth brekkie, so that cost me £2.90 and I'll have to buy lunch also, so I reckon £6.50 in total
Tomorrow I should be going to a leavers lunch, but I have a meeting at the same time, so I'll bring in soup and bread, just in case I have to miss the lunch. At least I'll save money if I do
.
No more spending after buying my lunch today, thankfully.
Tomorrow's meeting will be catered so I don't need to bring lunch from home :j:jThe 365 Day 1p Challenge 2025. Member #420 -

It's been an expensive day today
£38.00 on ebay postage  (that'll teach me to have so much all ending at the same time) and £8.88 on shrek third DVD for son for christmas (that was a bargain though, the cheapest I've seen it anywhere else was £12.99).
Am determined to spend nothing tomorrow or wednesday

Mmmm, well technically NSD for me as I didn't touch this weeks allowance. I had £30 left over from last week though, and I saved £20 for emergencies (all credit cards cut up) and spent £10 of it on a present for ds so that when dh gets home from Dubai he can pretend he bought it there (dh home next week, yay).0
