OP, this is not your fault, you are worth far more than this.
I grew up in a household where this type of abuse was rife although there was also physical abuse, as a teenager i wasnt very nice to my mum (I would never have hit her) but I was very frustrated that she put up with everything and saw her as being quite weak and pathetic if i am honest, something now I feel ashamed of.
Speak to someone independant, its easy for everyone to say leave but i know its not that simple, get some guidance, build some confidence and you will make the right decision for you.
