And the Conservatives are planning to privatise the NHS.
That statement is of course not true, as are the statements in your post.
If you start believing conspiracy theories or taking activist papers as official party policy, you will soon lose all grip on reality and will just look at the world through rose tinted spectacles.0 -
I might have read it wrong and i apologize if so but was Corbyn not promising/hinting at another reforendum on brexit if he/they get in to get the votes of all the remainers. If so what was the point of the 2016 vote.
Corbyn is a brexiteer, as he knows that EU rules would prevent him from carrying out his proposed radical re-nationalisation plans. He just hasn't got the stones to say that out loud, because he doesn't want/can't afford to lose any remainer votes.0 -

Prior to the 1997 General Election a rumour went round to the effect that the Tories were going to abolish the State pension. Some older people, including those already in receipt of their State pensions, panicked and voted Labour.0 -

The Labour party is a democratic organisation: its members make policy, its leaders follow instructions from Conference. So Corbyn's private opinion of the EU is not terribly relevant: FWIW I am fairly sure that he was sincere when he gave it seven out of ten and so campaigned for Remain three years ago.
The "radical re-nationalisation plans" are a long-term ambition rather than the first (or even tenth) thing that the incoming Labour government will do. Yes, rail will be easy: simply not renewing franchises as they expire and removing the franchise from delinquent companies such as Northern Rail. Other industries are more likely to be influenced to operate in the public interest.0 -

Well done.
All my investments are out of the UK because of the damage inflicted by the Conservatives and of course Brexit uncertainty. Once Labour are in power I will consider buying all those UK assets you are so keen to dump: just at the point when they are likely to begin performing properly.0 -

The pound has already dropped by about 30% under the Conservative government, and they have utterly failed to deliver on promises regarding reducing the national debt.
Perhaps the falling £ reflects greater structual issues in the UK economy.0 -

Make your mind up. Reduce the UK's borrowing requirement or increase it. Impossible to have ones cake and eat it.0 -

The Labour policy is to try and arrange another deal with the EU and then to have a second referendum but campaign against that deal and support remain.
Effectively giving remainers a second chance to block Brexit and disregard the 2016 referendum result.0 -

That could because they are not members of the United Nations Human Rights Council. KSA was not that long ago, their stellar record qualified them for membership alongside Cuba, Syria, Iran and Sudan. Israel has never been. I think Americans walked out.0
