Front Page Hit Counter Problem

I am new to web publishing. I have inserted the hit counter that comes with a little red x and the words "hit counter". Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong.

Post the address (URL) of the page with the counter on and people will be able to tell you what you're doing wrong.0

Frontpage counters only work on Frontpage extension Enabled webspace, it you want a counter that works for free go to www.statcounter.com you can choose to have it visible or invisible. you just cut and paste the code generated on the siteEx forum ambassador
