I can't remember the names of the NT properties, but they were listed in the brochure at the time.
I've searched high and low for articles about NT using spray foam insulation. All I can find is one outfit claiming to have NT as a client... If NT were to insulate a property, they would ensure that the methods used did no damage and were reversible - Neither are applicable to spray foam.

I would imagine many/most NT properties are listed. I live in Grade II listed house and there is no way that the heritage people would allow such damage to be caused to the house.
I would walk away unless the property was cheap enough to allow for a re-roof (ie £20k under). As a buyer this would give you an opportunity to build into the loft if this was feasible. Depending on the age of the property, it may be due some roof attention soon in any case.Signature on holiday for two weeks0
