Plumbers Feedback Requested - Baxi Platinum 28HE Under Carport Query

Hi all,
Hoping some plumbers can help me work something out. I have a Baxi Platinum 28he installed at home in the kitchen, the flue goes out the side of the house onto the driveway which runs up the side of the house.
I am looking at having an open sided carport fitted (open on 3 sides), but not sure what I need to do with the flue.
The flue currently sits 2.59m from ground level, and is 300mm from the nearest window opening. The carport roof ideally wants to be 2.6-2.7m above the ground, therefore the flue will exit into the carport.
I have looked at the baxi documentation and it says flue can be 25mm below balcony or roof of carport. But if any other areas are involved it should be 200mm, details in here:
https://www.jhplumb.com/system/brand_attachments/229/original/Baxi_Range_Guide.pdf
Now I though, perhaps I should get a plume kit fitted to exit through the carport roof, and keep the carport within the 25mm distance from the internal of the carport roof, but I am sure I read somewhere that them you have other distances and dual zones to deal wih. This is where I am getting confused!
If anyone has any guidance on any regulatory distances that woudl be great. I am trying to avoid making the carport too high, as it defeats the object to keep rain off, it will just blow in if too high!
Many thanks....

The flue needs to be 200mm below the car port roof.
You will need a plume kit but you also need to make sure it's sited correctly. You need a gas safe engineer to do this for you as you can't do it yourself.0 -

Hi Bris, thanks for the info...
I had my boiler man come over this morming, he checked the latest baxi manual and Gas Safe guidance, he's told me the following applies:
1. Flue can exit into the carport, but carport roof would need to be minimum 250mm above flue, and no window or obstruction either side by 250mm either. No plume required.
2. If we used a plume kit, the 250mm above still applies, but as the exhaust is in a secondary zone to the intake, the intake will need 1200mm clearance left and right of the flue intake (under the carport).
This info seems a bit odd to me, but I am not a trained plumber- Why is the distance more if I use a plume kit for the inlet? This causes me issues as then there is a window frame in the way, and supporting beams for the carport, which I cannot move out that far.
I'd rather not have the flue exiting into the carport, it would contain all the steam, which I realise can also be corrosive over time.
I have a feeling these rules may scupper my plans totallyIs there anywhere I can double check or validate this info?
Thanks...Mortgage Free Wannabe Light Bulb Moment (Early 2012, started May 2012)

Thanks for posting that, it looks much like what I found online but slightly different in detail on the distances undercarport (it says 25mm or 200mm).
The bit I am struggling to see and check is the distances needed if a plume kit is fitted, I can see it recommends in your link to fit a plume kit when the flue goes into a carport, which makes sense.
But the info I was given about the inlet having to be 1200mm from any obstruction left or right is not anywhere. is this a gas reg rather than boiler advisory?Mortgage Free Wannabe Light Bulb Moment (Early 2012, started May 2012)

Hi all -I've just called baxi to check the distances as I have been struggling to get a consistent answer from a few gas boiler engineers... They tell me a plume kit cannot be used to go through a carport roof, as it introduces two pressure zones, which is against british standard gas regs. I want to double check as the guy I spoke to didn't really seem interested, but no idea how to check... This is really confusing!!Mortgage Free Wannabe Light Bulb Moment (Early 2012, started May 2012)

The MI (manufactures instructions) take precedence, follow that.
200mm is taken from the logic gas safety training manual but if Baxi say 25mm is fine then you are good to go.0 -
Right I am eventually getting somewhere, managed to speak with baxi today and understand what can and cannot be done:
Can use a plume displacement kit (PDK) to vent above carport roof
Exhaust exit must be at least 300mm from carport roof
Intake under roof, only needs to be 25mm beneath roof-line (although we will make this 200mm in-case).
Due to the dual pressure zones, the Plume will need a diffusser fitting.
So, I need to get these baxi parts:
7225716 (PDK)
7213532 (Diffusser)
I am off to google search these, any tips for cheap plumbing suppliers online? My boiler man (new one), said easier if I get parts for him, it wont be any cheaper if he does...
