replacing phone advice?

Afternoon all, i'm looking to replace my phone. Its a refurb, i've cracked the screen and its not worth the cost of replacing.
I've been re-evaluating what i actually use the phone for and frankly the phone element is the least important, its more for listing to music/podcasts and the camera now.
it was a Sony XA1 ultra, was perfectly happy with it, although i meant to get just an XA1, this was too big.
I want to get as much storage as i can, would you advise getting a 32gb or 64gb phone and an SD card or getting as much storage on the phone as i can afford?
Any recommendations for the above with a half decent camera?
around £150-£200 refurb?
thanks
