Will Radiator Corrode?

Hello, I removed a radiator in a room to redecorate and it's been sat there empty in the spare room for 3 weeks, is it likely to corrode in that time or does the inhibitor coat the inside even when its empty?

I'm just wondering if it's pointless putting it back on once corrosion starts even if i top up the central heating with more corrosion inhibitor?

It'll rust a bit, but nothing significant unless it was already almost rusted through. If you have the chance, wash it through with mains pressure water via a hose to clear out any residual muck.

Take the radiator outside before flushing it out with a hose. But before you move it, plug the ends where the valves (taps) are with blanking plugs. If you get the crud lurking inside the radiator on a carpet or wooden floor, it will leave a horrible black stain that won't come out.
