CH/boiler acting strange-help please

Hi all.
I have an Ideal Logic C30 combi boiler which comes on and delivers heat to all rads even though it's set to hot water only setting. Its run from a Danfoss wireless timer if that helps.
I dont think it's the diverter valve as the heat return pipe remains cool when I run the hot water.
Any ideas what could be at fault here?
