Stopped for careless driving

  • Of course you are, that's why you're crying on here and arguing with anyone who disagrees with you.

No yelling from me, just replying to your posts. I'm quite calm. You should give it a go.
I'm not yelling, just so many teachers in manner of driving, while I asked completly different question.
  • Just wasn't able to find that anyone had the similar situation, when police officer says that he will look into their video recording, and make a decision later on.

If I knew, as I said they haven't introduced to me.
    Where did this happen?

There is only one force covers each part of the country.
  • Where did this happen?
    Essex. A406 to M11.

That's not Essex. That's the London Borough of Redbridge, so Metropolitan Police.

I see, thanks for the info, now at least I know which police force stopped me.
But I'm not going to "knock" on someone, and telling that they did something wrong.
  • So why are you here making a fuss then? Just sit out the next six weeks and see if anything happens.

I can drive how I want, and I never screamed the I KNOW MY RIGHTS, I came here to ask about the procedure, how it works, and what police can do what not.
No, you can't. There are numerous acts of parliament which set out what you can and can't do.

What do you mean by this?
  • Whatever the police told you about timescales, they have six months to begin court proceedings. They will take a decision earlier than that whether it is to be court or an out-of-court disposal (a course or fixed penalty). If it is to be the latter you will hear probably within four weeks (that is to give you the time to accept and take the course or pay the fixed penalty before the six months expires). But if court action is decided then they have six months to begin it and in most areas (certainly the Met) they usually take all of that. This means you will probably hear nothing until almost seven months after the event.
