Unsubscribe problem

Couldn't find a forum dedicated to this, so I put it here. I recently resigned as a member of one of the three major parties. However, I am still receiving large numbers of emails from them and although I have asked them to remove me from their mailing list they still bombard me with unwanted missives. There is no 'unsubscribe' button on the messages, so how would I go about overcoming this. The more I request them to desist, the worse it gets. Any help appreciated.

Make a rule that all emails from that address are sent straight to delete or spam.
    Or simply Block the sender.

You can do the above, or if you forward them an email with GDPR mentioned in the subject, just request they remove you.
