  • Happy Days.
New passport for eldest sprog rec'd today - check
NZ eTA applied for accepted - check
Elder sprogs passport makes no mention of european union - check
Blue passport instead of purple - sadly not. 4 out of 4 would have been to much to ask for.
  • Thankfully the last two elements of that list of 4 are utterly irrelevant for entry (or refused entry) into Singapore.

Think I may have some cured pork for dinner this evening

IF the UK doesn't leave the eu on the 31st Oct under No Deal, then all will be good and his passport will be fine.

Just spotted this topic so apologies if I've missed something, but what is the relevance of EU membership or otherwise to travelling to Singapore? Do they have special arrangements for visitors from the EU?

at that stage in the thread, I (mistakenly) thought that I wouldn't need a long expiry to enter Singapore for a very short visit.

the issue about potentially leaving the eu on 31st Oct is that we are travelling via Sweden and if the UK had have left under No Deal, we would have definitely needed to get a new passport, but if the departure was delayed, we'd be ok.

But were very relevant for sprog the elder who fancied a blue passport
  • Put a cover on it if it means that much
