I wasn't intending to. It was the previous owners who used BG to service the boiler. Thanks, I'm sorting a local engineer now.0 -

Whether it is deemed AR (there is two categories of this) or ID (immediately dangerous) you have to get the gas responsible person to agree to let you either turn off or cap off, so if they say no then you can't do it, however in the case of ID the engineer will phone the gas emergency service & they will cap you off with or without your permission, is it dangerous atm probably not but if it comes apart because it's not supported then yes it could be lethalI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
