Saga Easy Access

I'm considering opening an account with Saga at 1.4% once my Synergy rate drops to 1% in the near future.

Are they any good?

I have a Marcus account but don't want these funds in that and realise the FSCS protection is shared but they wont get near the £85k combined. I am over 50 BTW.

i have no experience of the 1.4% saga account that you mention, but if you are already an existing cynergy customer could you not open an issue 25 account at 1.45% ready for when the bonus on your current issue expires? (-- or indeed open both!)

Never had a problem with them when I had Saga savings accounts.

I wasn't aware I could open one - certainly seems the best option once anniversary is reached in a few days time!
