New build patio doors

Recently moved into a new build house, we noticed the patio doors have a small gap where I can see outside.

I mentioned this to the site manager several times who told me a lot of other people have said the same, however they are supposed to be like that. As I get on with our new neighbours, I asked them if I could check theirs. There is no gap.

Any advice?

As you seem to have a myriad of problems with your house you need to make an itemized list of all the issues, submit it to the developer and ask for an appointment to discuss them and set a timescale for resolution.

How have they explained the difference with your neighbours' doors?

I only found that put recently and will approach them next week about it. I am just worried they will continue to say it’s normal and wondered in the end if they refuse what can I do?

do you not have a snagging list that you should be giving to the builder?

We bought from the bloor and had a snagging list after 10 days & a further one after 6 months ...

They agreed which ones would be fixed.

Has the site manager actually looked at the doors - cause I would not expect to see gaps - where are the gaps?
