Hi my mum used my car to go with freinds to a pub that uses Euro car parks. We have bank statments to prove custom on that day.
Euros issue a PCN to my old address, just got a debt collector who found my current address. Shaw I show debtcollector bankstatment or just tell the debt collector its none of their business????

Ignore the DRP letters entirely but get the pub to cancel it.
This advice is nothing new or unusual, it is exactly as the NEWBIES sticky thread tells you to do (post #1 of the sticky thread says to complain to the landowner first, and post #4 tells everyone to IGNORE debt letters).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ok thankyou I will call the pub0
-
Before you call the pub, post up on here what you intend to say.
If you could visit the pub, even better.
Beware, they will try and fob you off .
is this a chain pub, ie run by managemetn, or a local run by a landlord/landlady?
where/what is this pub some places crop up on here on a regular basis, plus looking trip advisor etc can yield results, or enable you to work out how to proceedFrom the Plain Language Commission:

This is the point where it will be helpful to get a confirmation form the pub in written/email format, confirming your conversationFrom the Plain Language Commission:

Good! Our simple advice worked then. Did they take the details or a photocopy?ok went in the pub, they said they'll contact Euros to cancel the ticket
Hope you didn't give them the actual PCN and left with no record yourself.
You will need to check that it is showing as cancelled on ECP's website though, because otherwise you will need to be telling ECP about your correct address for service.Euros issue a PCN to my old address, just got a debt collector who found my current address.
You can't run the risk of letters going to a possible old address, not from any PPC scammer.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
