Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

You need to give more information as the advice will vary depending on size, value, weight etc. Also an idea of what parcel contains as couriers and RM all have different things they exclude from insurance.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Hi
Thankyou for your reply. My Son has been in Australia since January working & sightseeing and he has said soon he would like me to send some of his clothes and trainers over. He only went with a large hiking rucksack so I’m guessing things are starting to wear out. He must feel it’s a better option than buying over there hehe. I think value would be lower than £200 but weight wise I’m not sure. Maybe 10kg like a holiday cabin bag ?Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

A parcel under 2kg will be cheaper via Royal Mail. Anything over is going to be expensive and it may be cheaper for him to buy those things out there unless there is anything of sentimental value. Try Transglobalexpress for international's courier prices, but be prepared to have your eyeballs poked!0

Bear in mind Oz has an economy and there will be import duty to pay - it may actually work out cheaper to buy local then import even second hand clothes.
There's also the "is that legal" of second hand clothes importing - not all countries permit.0 -
10kg with dims of 50 x 30 x 20 cm via a broker like Parcel2Go will cost you £45 to £55.
Far better to buy cheap stuff locally, tell your son to ask any tradie where they buy their workwear. The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0
