Dont use the good garage scheme to find a decent garage.

Just to mention that the good garage scheme do not display any bad reviews. Garages belonging to the scheme pay them to be a member.

They would not display my negative review...left so that it does not happen to others and they wouldnt display it...during the time of exchanging several emails with the good garage scheme where they were conveying my gripes to the garage owner my car was keyed several times outside my house. (no other cars in the road have been affected and this has never happened to me before....its always the road side so somebody is pulling up next to my car, putting hand out of window and keying it.....always whilst its parked overnight...the garage owner asked for my address when i made the appointment). It has reached a stage where i have had to report it to the police.

Basically to say not to go by the reviews on the good garage scheme website as they only, only display good reviews.

When I've moved somewhere new and not known where to go I've used GGS garages without any issues. I dont think they actually fake good reviews. Nevertheless, a garage with hundreds is obviously a better bet than one which never seems to be able to accumulate more than half a dozen.

I would say they do seem to be a bit more expensive than non member garages. But, pretty much anything is better than having to go to Kwik Fit.

It also does sound like they've tried to liaise with the garage for you. The keying is horrible, but you don't know the garage has anything to do with it. It may well just be an unfortunate coincidence.
