I try to flea treat mine, as they're dozing away.
Give them a bit of fuss on the backs of their head and neck, then apply the treatment.

I apply it in many different spots (5, 6, 7 + dabs) or the cold runny liquid wakes them up, and freaks them out.

My cats might raise an eyelid at being fussed, but often stay still and go back to sleep.
  • Will try that thank you

Rare as my little girl is indoor-only but ... when she has her piglet face in a dish of deliciousness. Have to get the pipette ready way beforehand though, cats know all, cats miss nothing.
