Dear All,
Today received a quoation from their rep after his recent survey
G3302 HV3 Softener Gear 870
Install HV3 Installation - Standard
XW3YPL 3 Year Warranty
1,415.00 plus VAT @ 20% = 283.00
Total 1,698.00
Payment Option Selected - Subscription Trial (Optional 6 Month 0%)
You make 2 payments of £41.95 during the trial period.
If you decide not to continue at the end of your trial we will remove the water softener and associated plumbing with no charge, and refund you any water softener payments made during your trial period.
If you wish to keep your softener, you make 6 payments of £269.02 to complete your purchase, interest free.
Please note as no installation date has been booked, this pricing will be valid for 30 days of the date of this quotation.
The Rep said he will provide 1 year supply of salt 12 packs( 24 blocks worth £50) and a Kitchen Sink Tap and the filer worth £150.
Is Harvey softerner any good and any alternatives for that.

Yeah, they are okay. The only problem I've had is filling a bath from my combi boiler. If the softener decides to regenerate at the same time, (using water) the bath takes about 20 minutes to fill.
Similar problem if you're using the shower.0
