duel fuel discount with only one supply.
Options
we switched to npower last year, cheap enough and no problems so far.
if i switched gas and electric, i could get a discount!!! fair enough!!
i only use electric, we do not have any gas appliences!!
signed up anyway, and pay £5 per month into the gas account!!
the meter never moves!! (cos there isnt one!!)
the money builds up so we either get it paid to the electricity account after winter or ask for a refund!!
its been working fine for 18 months now, with no problems as yet!!
about to look at getting £80 moved over with a minimum of effort!

Thats an interesting way of getting some cash out of them!
If they ever notice, I bet they will pull the plug on the duel fuel discount. But then, they never tell customers you actually need a meter to get it initially.:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0 -
So you heat the house with storage heaters, and water with an immersion? Gas is a much cheaper fuel for heating, though admittedly it would take a few years for the installation costs of gas heaters to pay for the savings.0
