Hi All
Have a three metre island in new open plan kitchen/living space and were to put three pendants above it.
Plasterers managed to loose the cables which are safe, but now under the ceiling, with exception of one central loop.
Now thinking of a single, maybe a bit of bling, but at moneysavers cost of course, so looking for ideas as to what you chose, for your island or mabe dining table, please.
Entire space is 11x6metres, with inset spotlights as other light source.
All links or images welcome.
Thanks in advance.

Several of these screwed to the ceiling upside down.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
We used something like this with Ikea aluminium shades. https://www.lampandlight.co.uk/pendant-lamp-cava-3-black?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIyKjm-4u45QIVjumaCh3Q2g7yEAQYBCABEgIrlfD_BwE0

At a previous house we had a huge vintage, Arts & Crafts style 'candle' chandelier over the island which was in the large, vaulted ceiling extension we built. It was very extravagant but also extremely MSE as it was a £2k light fitting we picked up for £200 + delivery on fleabay
In our current, much smaller (24' x 17' max) kitchen we have a vintage batterie de cuisine over the 8' x 4' island with insets spotlights in the ceiling. Our pendants - hand-blown glass ones, found in homesense - are over the breakfast table......Mortgage-free for fourteen years!
Over £40,000 mis-sold PPI reclaimed0 -
