Manchester meet n greet - car damaged
We parked in the official Manchester meet and greet car park last month and on return (at 6am after a transatlantic flight) we noticed a deep scrape across the back of our car near the boot. We reported this (with images) straight away and a claims form was sent off. We’ve now been contacted to say they will not proceed any further because ‘their drivers don’t go near the boot’ and the images of our car on arrival to the airport aren’t able to be found on the system (despite the fact they sent a screenshot showing 8 images were taken). Is there anything further we can do?
The parking cost us in excess of £90. Haven’t yet got the scrape looked at.
Thanks!

Amazed after all the publicity, inc that chap at Manchester airport who had his Range Rover trashed, still use these services.

A bit too late now but in future, just park the car yourself or use airport run services. Maybe a bit more expensive but it'll be safer.0

I'm just amazed that people would willingly hand over the keys to a £109,000 vehicle to someone without having done much (or anything at all) in the way of checking them out first.
£109K for a Range Rover then only £38 for some dodgy company to look after it for you!0 -
Last time we parked at M&G, as soon as we arrived the screen says "hello J B, please wait whilst we photograph the condition of your car"
Sounds like maybe they don't always save the pictures!0 -

If they can’t find the images then it’s their problem. Send them a letter before action.0 -
Get a quote to fix it, send a letter telling them try pay in 14 days or it's small claims court. Then go to court, no solicitor needed.0
