Credit Karma - Found some changes in credit report?

Been subscribed to Credit Karma (formerly Noddle). Today I get an email saying they've found changes in my credit report. I click on the link and it refers to a 'noticeable balance decrease'
Then shows the last 4 digits of the relevant account. Lender = Santander. And a Portfolio number (whatever that means).
Is this referring to a mortgage/loan?
I do have a current account where the last 4 digits are close but 1 digit is different. Beyond that I can't work out what is going on here. Can anyone shed any light?
Thanks!

It could relate to any credit agreement.
What does your actual report show? What Santander accounts appear on it?0 -
If it were me, I would get a statutory ,'snapshot' credit report direct from TransUnion to confirm the entry.I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.
I love my job

Okay, figured it out. Refers to my Santander credit card balance being paid off recently. The account number actually refers to a reference number on my bank statement. Thanks for your reply.0

You paid off the balance of your Santander credit card recently.
You got an e-mail from Credit Karma informing you of a noticeable balance decrease.
Sounds straight forward enough to me.0 -

It gets paid off every month automatically by DD. I never keep a balance on CCs, never have. That's why it seemed strange.0
