KeithP - Points noted and will amend - (Inadequate signage) I was not sure if I could include this as the signage is sufficient and I did receive a letter advising just forgot to switch permit to hire car.
Coupon-mad - Thanks for the advice regarding uploading the lease I will do that.0 -
Absolutely NEVER say the signs are OK.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Decided to give the MA one last try before submitting my appeal to POPLA. Previously called them and was told they were unable to get involved.
This time I emailed them stating "No Variation of Lease and Primacy of Contract" and instructing them to contact PPS and have the tickets cancelled immediately .... To my surprise it worked!
They replied back to say both the tickets have been cancelled and to display a permit at all times in future.
Thanks to everyone for all the help so happy I don't have to go down the POPLA route!0 -
As per post #4 above by Fruitcake:-
"If there is no mention of a permit scheme in your lease, why are you displaying one?
You already have a right to use the parking space and pay for that use."0 -

Because I don't want to go though the hassle of appealing to POPLA or defending myself in court if it comes to it.0
