From 7am on Friday 14 December 2007, Krispy Kreme will be unveiling their first Manchester store on Barton Dock Road, Trafford Park. The store is set to welcome hoards of dough-nutters, who like moths to a flame will be enticed by the famous ‘Hot Doughnuts Now’ neon sign, which is always lit up when doughnuts are being made. There will also be a drive-thru and special doughnut theatre where fans can watch their favourite doughnuts being made right before their eyes.
If you just can’t wait to get your molars into a hot doughnut, fear not. Friday 30 November is officially Dozen Doughnut Day: the last time you will be able to get your hands on a complimentary Krispy Kreme dozen box. The Confidential Krispy Kreme barge will be stopping off at a secret location in central Manchester at lunchtime to distribute delicious doughnuts to our readers. You or your office hero (a designated person from your office willing to do the doughnut run) will get a box of a dozen original glazed doughnuts to take back to work, and no doubt an entry into the boss’s good books.
