Hi, Not sure this is the right section to put this but I couldn’t see a section regarding my issue,
My issue is with VERY, the online shopping company.
I have or should I say had a £900 credit account with them and I’ve had it 10 months, September 2019 I requested them to close the account, they said it takes around 30 days for this to happen and they will send a email to confirm the accounts been closed,
Today I logged into the very account to see if it’s all been closed, but I can still login and i noticed the £900 credit is still showing, I contacted live chat and they said they have closed the credit account But they still have to keep my account open, is this true? I’ve Also noticed the £900 credit still showing,
Has anybody had any experience with very in this situation. Because I’m getting the impression there just giving me BS and keeping my account open and just saying it’s closed hoping I will spend, I just want the whole account closed if that’s possible so it doesn’t show on my report as open

The account is probably closed to new spending, but remains open on their system in case you return something or have a query about your account.
The status of the account may take sixty days or longer to updated with CRAs.0 -
Why are you so anxious to close this account?
By what you say about them closing the credit account but keeping the account open, could this be that the account remains should you wish to buy from them in the future but they are no longer offering you a credit facility and should you make further purchases in the future you would have to pay by other means?0
