Hi, I wonder if anyone could help me... My dad has just told me that yesterday when he logged into his Wanadoo email account there was nothing there in his inbox and that (by chance) when he clicked on the Outlook Express icon all his emails have ended up there. He is not great with a PC and is gettting nervous as he is waiting for several important business emails and I am not sure wht the problem could be!! Any help would be great peeps!!!

Basically he opened Outlook Express which then promptly did as it should and downloaded all the e-mails from Wanadoo - thus emptying the inbox.
I think he told you the order he did things in a bit back to front.0 -
Cheers for that but how do I get the inbox back over to Wanadoo? I can't seen to forward them from OE at the moment?!0

Create a folder call it something obvious, save the emails to the folder.
Right click the folder select send to then Mail recipient, and send them to your own address.Move along, nothing to see.0 -
Have tried to forward those emails but only a few seem to have gone over. Also, whenever I try and send a test email it takes ages to get another email address. The same also happens when I try to recieve one from another email account. Is there a virus or something? Please help!!0

Wannapoo doesn't exist any more, nothing to do with a virus. The page gives the correct POP3/SMTP settings. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
