Was that a formal Notice of Discontinuation issued by Gladstones?  Did you receive any 'special offers' to avoid court (like 25% off) prior to the discontinuation?  If so what was the time gap?

When was your scheduled court date, and in what format was it due to take place - on the papers, by telephone, by video link, or a face to face hearing?

So our original court date was going to be moved because of the whole covid situation. The court yet again tried to push us towards negotiation outside court I.e by phone... I obviously ignored this. Gladstone would then ring me atleast twice every single day saying they'll reduce 25%, etc. And that I had until end of day to accept (basically trying to pressure me). I told them I'd save them the hassle and accept an offer of 99p (🤡) 

I later received a letter stating that Gladstone had not paid the court fees and case was discontinued.
