Wallpaper near-match required!

Hi, I’m trying to find a near match for an old embossed wallpaper of which I need 1 roll and will be painting over in the same colour as the rest. I have tried all the usual shops with no luck. Are there any companies which make bespoke wallpaper? Or could find a near match with a photo?
Many thanks in advance

    You could try https://www.wallpapermarket.co.uk
Or if you know the manufacturer and have product number, someone here might have an odd roll. Failing that facebook & ebay are the places of last resort.

If you know what make it is the manufacturers can be helpful. I moved into a house that had some Anaglypta borders, the pattern was discontinued so I contacted Anaglypta & they sent me two rolls.
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.

I had this problem in a rental. Just used woodchip instead, painted over everything, and can't see any difference.

You don't live in it though?

Going to ask the obvious question but why can't you strip it off and then repaper the whole area with matching?
  • Hi Relievedsheff, the paper is really old (1920s?) and we do like the pattern also there is only a small section we need to re paper below a dado rail. For now we’ve painted the plaster there in the same colour as the papered parts. I’ll keep hunting 😉

It might be worth posting a photograph of the paper on here. I know it's unlikely but you never know, someone may just recognise the design.

Not sure how clever the ebay app is but have you tried taking a photo of the wallpaper and using it for an ebay search? I know it works for items but not sure if it would pick up the pattern. It must be worth a shot though?
